Found in Burma, Malaysia and Thailand at elevations of 400 to 650 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each, globose, flattened vertically pseduobulbs carrying a single, apical, sessile, thick, elliptic leaf that is round apically and blooms in the late spring a summer on a 3" to 6.5" [7.5 to 16.25 cm] long, erect then with a drooping rhachis , several to many densely flowered, racemose inflorescence carrying 10 to 15, fleshy flowers
